If you “Googled” Levar Fisher, here’s what you’d find: Four-year starter for the NC State Wolfpack Fisher was the ACC’s Defensive Player of the Year in 2000 and a 1st team All-ACC selection in1999, 2000 and 2001. Fisher finished his career with a school record 492 tackles, 12 sacks and 9 fumbles caused. In 2000, he became an Academic All American and led the nation in tackles per game with 15.1. Fisher was a Consensus 1st team All-American LB in 2000,2001. Drafted into the NFL by the Arizona Cardinals in 2002, Fisher's career was short lived because of knee problems being released 2005. He was later signed by New Orleans Saints in 2006, retiring from the NFL in 2007.

What you won’t find on Wikipedia is that, in Levar’s life, he’s made some big mistakes…the life-altering kind that sucks the breath from your throat. These are the kind of mistakes that you either learn from or die from. How you get away from that and learn to believe again in yourself and a smarter way of life is the journey that Levar knows a lot about. It’s why he was not only able to become a pro, but to take that leadership to a level beyond his NFL career and onto the stage as a professional speaker. It’s those mistakes and how he handled them that everybody wants to hear…and it’s a good thing, because Levar’s a really good story-teller, and because…you’re not going to stop him anyway.
